Jessica Saris is a Research Assistant with ABS Canada. Jessica is Métis and is extremely passionate about Aboriginal rights and issues. Her participation in the project stems from ABS Canada's focus on Aboriginal mentorship and capacity building. Jessica is currently a Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (designation in Aboriginal Law and Indigenous Legal Traditions). She graduated from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Prior to law school Jessica was a mortgage broker for 10 years in the Lower Mainland area of British Columbia.
