About: Ryan Pistorius
Ryan Pistorius is a Research Assistant with ABS Canada. Born in Winnipeg as a first-generation Canadian, Ryan’s interest in international law brought him to the University of Ottawa, where he is currently pursuing a J.D. with an Option in International Law. He previously completed a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) at Queen’s University, where he participated in an archaeological excavation in the Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and spent a number of years working in the peer-administered student disciplinary system. Ryan is a former world champion in public speaking, and is currently serving on the executive of the uOttawa Chapter of the International Law Students Association. He also works as an Assistant Editor at the Ottawa Law Review and as a host at The Law School Show. In his free time, Ryan enjoys travelling, photography, and orchestral percussion.
